Super duper cute. Cousin and I met here for a seasonal check-in. We enjoyed the bar and the happy hour offerings. Servers were also very attentive. Will return.
Great neighborhood spot! The drinks and food are excellent and the staff is really friendly. I had the kale and cheese quesadilla and would definitely order it again. Some of the drinks can be a little pricey, but overall I love this bar and I'll be back.

Bar Basic is a fun neighborhood bar. No frills, just drinks, bar fare and personality. Service was great. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and split an appetizer and mains. Everything was tasty and the drinks were strong (as requested)! Can't wait to go back and try their happy hour!
The restaurant was very cute inside. We started with loaded nachos. I had the chicken enchilada. The beer selection was great. The service was decent. The food was good. Definitely a cute place in Park Slope.
Nice divey bar with great drinks and bar food. We came in before going out to a local escape room a few blocks away and weren't disappointed with the quality drinks and food. Highly recommend the burgers and the drinks. Service is great turn bar tender was friendly and recommended some great cocktails. The bar seating is limited but there are plenty of small tables and bench seating. Overall it's a great bar with nice atmosphere. The decor is a bit all over the place from winter decorations to mistletoes everywhere. Very cozy.
Great Tex mec food with updated twists. Loved my grilled corn & romaine salad, also tasted the kale quesadilla which was out of this world! Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was a casual bar and a few tables, some in the back outside. There is a opening to the street which gives the place an open, airy feel to it. On seventh Ave in Brooklyn near a lot of other area neighborhood stores. Convenient street parking.
I think the first time we ate here, we got take out, and I remember the beef pho being not very good. Well we came here and sat down for the first time, finally. I got the tacos and my husband got the beef pho. He said it was really good, way better than the first time we got it where the noodles tasted like they were thrown in last minute and were still hard. The tacos I think were really good and a highlight. I ate all 3 and then felt like s**t after, but it was totally worth it. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth, and there were a lot of juice coming out. This is a popular spot for a lot of people to go to -- it's always crowded and there's always people on the patio with their kids and/or dogs. It's an all around cool place to hang out and get a drink. This is a place I would take visitors to if I still lived in that area.
We frequent bar basic pretty often and really enjoy it. They have trivia Wednesday nights and a really impressive happy hour. All of the food has been amazing and the staff is sweet. The service can take a little bit longer, but it's usually because they are so busy. Highly recommend this spot - especially on trivia night!
